Audrey Marcillat is a doctoral student in sociology at the Institute for Interdisciplinary Institute of Social Issues (EHESS) and a teacher at the University of Paris 7. She is writing a thesis on homeless people in Ile-de-France from a gender perspective, with the support of the Émilie du Châtelet Institute. Her research on homeless women in Paris was published in 2014 by CNAF (French National Fund for Family Allowances) and received the CNAF's second prize for best master's thesis in 2013.
