Biography

Lissell Quiroz is Associate of Spanish, Doctor of History and University Professor in Latin American Studies at CY Cergy Paris University. She holds a thesis on state building and justice in 19th century Peru and an accreditation to supervise research entitled "Power and Coloniality in Peru (19th-20th Centuries)". She specializes in the history of the State, health and gender in the Americas. Her recent work focuses on the history of feminism, motherhood, and maternal and child health in Latin America.
