Évelyne Barthou is a sociologist, lecturer at the University of Pau, permanent researcher at the UMR CNRS TREE (University of Pau and the Adour countries) and associate researcher at the Center Émile Durkheim (Bordeaux University). She specializes in the sociology of migration, education, youth and gender. His current research focuses on the link of descendants of immigrants to their country of origin, the role of social networks as well as the institutional management of cultural diversity at school and the experience of the health crisis linked to COVID. -19.
