Biography

Camille Froidevaux-Metterie is a feminist philosopher, professor of political science and equality-diversity officer at the University of Reims. She specializes in feminist history, theories and debates. Her research is devoted to themes related to female corporeality (puberty, appearance, motherhood, breasts, menopause, pleasure and sexuality, gender-based and sexual violence, etc.). She defends an "embodied" feminism which considers the body of women between alienation and emancipation, and raises the question of the place of men in feminism.
