Caroline Champenois is a physicist, researcher at the CNRS. She devotes her research to experimental quantum physics, and particularly to the manipulation of atoms through their interactions with light. Among the applications of his work are frequency metrology (atomic clocks) and other uses of trapped ions such as the manipulation of quantum information.
C. Champenois is involved in the promotion of science among young women, via Femmes et Sciences and the Commission Femmes et Physique of the SFP.
