Biography

Evelyne Kemajou is the founder of the Portail de l'Immigrant association (PIA), an organization whose mission is to offer a range of services and programs to Francophone youth and women in Calgary in all its diversity. The PIA won the Regional Impact Award, which highlights organizations whose actions have enabled the Alberta Francophonie to stand out on the regional scene and on the provincial scene. Evelyne Kemajou also received the Dulari-Prithipaul Prize which rewards the actions of a migrant within the Francophone community.
