Biography

Cécile Thomé has a doctorate in sociology, specializing in the sociology of gender, sexuality and contraception. She is currently a post-doctoral fellow at INED, where she works on the weight of the relationship to the body and health in the contraceptive choices of young women in France. She is the author of a thesis entitled "Sexuality in the Age of Contraception. Gender, Desire and Pleasure in Heterosexual Relations (France, 1960s - 2010s)".
