Dina Bader is a Swiss sociologist specializing in issues related to violence against women and migration. Her doctoral thesis on the problematization of excision and cosmetic genital surgery in Switzerland received the 2019 "Gender - Equality between women and men" prize from the University of Lausanne. Previously, she was a researcher at the Swiss Forum for the Study of Migration (University of Neuchâtel) and at the Swiss Center of Expertise for Human Rights. His work focuses on female genital mutilation, migration, integration, racism and nationalism.
