Biography

Magali Guaresi has a doctorate in contemporary history. Currently a temporary teaching and research associate at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, her work focuses on the analysis of the discourse of contemporary women politicians through the prism of gender. Her thesis, entitled Parler au feminin. The professions of faith of the deputies under the Fifth Republic (L'Harmattan, 2018), studies a vast body of electoral discourse thanks to the computer and statistical tools developed in the field of digital humanities.
