Delphine Lacombe is a sociologist and political scientist, specializing in Nicaragua and gender issues, women's rights, and the history of feminism in Latin America. Researcher at CNRS, doctor of EHESS, she has devoted her work to the history of the politicization of violence against women, sexist and sexual, to the links between revolutions and feminism, democratic experience and feminism. His research has also been devoted to the dissemination of gender as a scholarly, militant and bureaucratic category under the effect of globalization.
