Biography

Sophie Barel is a researcher in information and communication sciences (Univ. De Rennes 2, PREFICS laboratory) and lecturer.
With a thesis in progress entitled " Saying and showing the female body. From the staging of the self to the political expression of the intimate on digital social media ", she questions feminist demands online, the representation / sociology of the body, digital practices, in transdisciplinary research.
Member of the Observatory of Digital Worlds in Human Sciences (OMNSH) and of the ALEF research group.
