Biography

Cécile Simmons is a researcher at the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD), an international think tank dedicated to studying and reversing the rising tide of extremism, polarisation and disinformation. Her research focuses on far-right extremism and terrorism, disinformation (including health and climate disinformation), gender-based online violence and other online harms. She is a regular contributor to English and French-speaking media outlets.
