Margunn Bjørnholt is a sociologist and research professor at the Norwegian Center for Violence and Traumatic Stress Studies (NKVTS) in Oslo. She is an expert in sexual and gender-based violence, migrants and refugees, gender equality, men and masculinities, organization and political studies. She has extensive experience as an academic, civil servant, consultant and civil society, and is a past president of the Norwegian Association for Women's Rights and the Norwegian Women's Lobby.
