Ermira Danaj holds a doctorate in social sciences from the University of Neuchâtel. She is the author of several publications on gender issues in the Balkans. Her research interests focus on the feminist analysis of migration, violence against women, urban space (street art). In 2013, she was Fulbright Researcher at the New School of New York. Currently, she is engaged as a gender expert with various international organizations. She is also a guest lecturer at ISCTE University in Lisbon.
