Céleste Millet is a specialist in the LGBTQIAP+ representation in the video game industry. S.he is the author of a research thesis entitled Queering video games: marginalized identities in Animal Crossing: New Leaf, defended in 2019 as part of the master's degree in gender studies at the University of Bordeaux-Montaigne. Its multidisciplinary approach crosses ludology and narratology to question the place of social minorities from the conception to the reception of video games.
