Biography

Mary C. Lavissière is a lecturer at the University of Nantes. Doctor in Linguistics from Paris-Sorbonne University, her research fields include specialty languages, textual linguistics, morphosyntax, modality and historical linguistics. She is currently working on legal speech, business English and the language of women in traditionally male trades.
