Biography

Jules Falquet is a sociologist, specializing in questions of intersectionality and the interweaving of social relations (sex, race and class). She works on neoliberal globalization and the social movements that try to offer alternatives (Zapatista movement in Mexico, Landless movement in Brazil), war, post-war and violence, and Latin American decolonial epistemology and Caribbean. She is responsible for the Masters course "Gender and social and political change: transnational perspectives" at the University of Paris.
