Estelle Praet is an archaeologist and art historian (ULB). A specialist in Latin America, she has excavated in Mexico and Peru. In 2017, she began a master's degree in gender studies on the political participation of indigenous women from the Ayuuk region in Oaxaca (Mexico). She undertook a third master's degree in archaeological science at the University of Cambridge where she applied bio-molecular techniques to the zoo-archaeological study of the Mayan region. PhD student at the University of York, she analyzes plastic pollution in the Galapagos via archeology.
