Biography

Mélissa Beausir is a lawyer specializing in victimology. She coordinated counseling and psychosocial support centers for children victims of sexual violence in Senegal. She has developed multidisciplinary training modules for actors in charge of the protection of children (security forces, medical personnel, teachers, lawyers, magistrates). For the past year, she has been a self-employed consultant and supports structures in capacity building on supporting victims of gender-based and sexual violence.
