Biography

Tania Angeloff is a professor of sociology at the Institute for Development Studies at the Sorbonne. Having started to take an interest in gender in 1994, she trained from that date in the sociology of work and professions (around the issue of part-time work in France), in the sociology of gender, and in socio-anthropology of contemporary Chinese society through the prism of gender inequalities. She is currently working on gender issues in development and emergency response policies and on political subjectivization during the Mao years.
