Valérie Favre has a doctorate in English-speaking literature and a temporary teaching and research associate at the Université Lumière Lyon 2. Specializing in 20th and 21st century Anglo-American literature and gender studies, she is particularly interested in articulation between literature and feminism (s). She has written a thesis and published articles (in French and English) on the literary, critical and feminist posterity of A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf, from the sixties to the present day.
