Biography

Alexia Fafara is a Junior Policy and Campaigns Officer at the European Women's Lobby, where she works on issues related to male violence against women and girls and on sexual and reproductive health and rights. Her first master’s thesis was about the role of the Polish civil society in trying to reshape the national abortion law and the second one was about gender mainstreaming in Frontex. She took part in the creation of the MeToo movement at the European Parliament and of the metooep.com blog under the leadership of Jeanne Ponté in 2018.
