Biography

Porshia Estelle is a thirty-seven year old Afrofeminist transgender woman. She is the executive director of a Cameroonian civil society organization working with gender diverse people, including transgender women and men, queer women, sex workers and people living with HIV. She is a consultant/trainer and expert on issues of gender and gender identity, and target-specific sexual health. She is, among others, a member of the independent African Transgender Network.
