Biography

A graduate in Gender Studies and Information and Communication Sciences, Irène Despontin Lefèvre is a Carism researcher at the University of Paris 2 . After working on #MeToo or on expressions of identity on YouTube, her work now focuses on the renewal of feminist mobilizations in France since the mid-2010s. As part of her thesis, she is interested in communication strategies feminist collectives, such as #NousToutes, and questions the way in which digital technology contributes to co-constructing the feminist movement.
