Biography

Myra Abdallah is the communications manager for Women in News program at the World Association of Newspapers (WAN-IFRA). She is a journalist and a gender expert with a demonstrated history of working on gender issues in the media industry, training on gender, women and LGBTIQ+ rights, online security of women journalists, gender balance in media organizations, sexual and online harassment. She is also an Online Harassment Advisory board member at the International Women Media Foundation (IWMF).
