Panayiota Polykarpou

Biography

Panayiota is a social innovator that uses innovative methods to tackle issues of gender equality.She’s a Research Fellow at the Cyprus University of Technology, responsible for the implementation of the Gender Equality Plan.She’s the co-founder of the first digital campaign for gender equality in Cyprus (A few words for Equality) and co-author of the book of the campaign “A few words for equality – A small book for a big change). She’s involved in the Youth Parliament, member of the Committee of Human Rights and she recently founded the Girls in STEAM Academy in Cyprus.
