Biography

Carla Guevara is a sociologist and founder of the Asociación Colectiva Sacha Warmi, an organisation that aims to fight for women's rights, eradication of gender-based violence and women's empowerment. She is president of the Fundación Warmi Amazónica, which aims to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 agenda. She is a promoter of social, environmental and cultural projects with a gender focus. She was a member of the Civil Society Reference Group of the Spotlight Initiative.
