Adeline Vasquez-Parra

Biography

Historian and linguist, I am of Chilean origin and I lived in the United States / Canada. Specialist in Francophonies in North America (Canada, United States, Caribbean), bilingualism policies (French/English) and government aid for linguistic minorities. My doctoral thesis was on the history of benevolence towards the Acadian minority. I am also interested in gender inequalities in the public speaking of minority groups, particularly among refugees, as well as in popular education.
