Biography

Reyhan Yalcindag Baydemir is a dedicated human rights activist who served as chair of the Human Rights Association (IHD), the oldest and largest human rights organization in Turkey. She has been involved in human rights for over 20 years, drafting reports and advocating for human rights at domestic and international levels, including before the European Court of Human Rights and UN bodies. She is an expert on gender-based rights and women's rights and has collaborated with IHD's central and local offices.
