Biography

Mariette Sineau is a political scientist. Her work focuses on women and politics, women and power. She has also worked on childcare arrangements for young children and on the relationship between heritage and politics. A researcher at the CNRS and at Sciences Po, she has notably published Women and Power under the Fifth Republic (Presses de Sciences Po) and The Force of the Number: Women and Presidential Democracy (L'Aube).
