Biography

Marie-Christine Lipani is a researcher in the sociology of the media, specializing in the economic models of the media, the training of journalists and ethical questions. She is a lecturer authorized to direct research in information and communication sciences at the Bordeaux Aquitaine Journalism Institute (IJBA). She is an equality advisor and fights against discrimination. She works in particular on the place of women in the media, the promotion of research, and the challenges of media coverage of mental disorders.
