Cécile Coquet-Mokoko

Biography

Cécile Coquet-Mokoko is a normalienne, associate professor of English and professor of American civilization at the University of Versailles-Saint Quentin. A specialist in African-American studies, she has taught in the United States and published on the subject of sermons and religious traditions inherited from slavery. She is the author of a book in English on the representations and experiences of black-white couples in Alabama and France.
