Nelly Chabrol Gagne is a teacher-researcher at Clermont Auvergne University (UCA) and member of the laboratory, CELIS (Center for Research on Literature and Sociopoetics). She co-directs the research axis "Visual arts-graphic literatures-youth literature". Her work mainly focuses on representations of the feminine and the sexist and gender stereotypy in the youth album. Her thesis focused on the work of the writer Valery Larbaud, whose portraits and lives of children, young people and young girls have deeply marked her.
