Experimental physics researcher Martina Knoop uses advanced lasers to interrogate single atoms. One of the applications is the measurement of time with unparalleled precision. For several years, she has also been involved in scientific publishing and open access debates, and a member of the Committee for Open Science. In addition, she co-chairs the Parity Equality Committee of the CNRS.
