Biography

Isabelle Gillette-Faye is a sociologist by training, specializing in specific violence or harmful traditional practices. She has also been Director General of the GAMS National Federation since 1990. She was project manager of the first European Program against female genital mutilation in Europe, and she is recognized as an international expert.
