Biography

Emeritus professor of economics at Paris 1-Panthéon Sorbonne, associate professor at the Paris School of Economics, Catherine Sofer is a specialist in labor economics and family economics. She has notably published The Division of Labor between Men and Women (1985, Economica), as well as numerous articles in leading international economic journals. She co-hosts the gender economics seminar in Paris 1 and co-edited the special volume devoted to gender economics in the Annals of Economy and Statistics in 2015.
