Biography

Expert in public and humanitarian health, Véronique Inès Thouvenot has specialized in digital health, eLearning and telemedicine since 2002. She conducted her doctorate in mathematics (PhD) at the European Center for Humanitarian Health, then worked at the World Health Organization and the 'International Telecommunications Union. She is co-founder of the Millennia2025 "Women and Innovation" Foundation and director of the Observatory for Women and eHealth under the aegis of UN ECOSOC. She was named Woman of the Year 2019 by the BBC World for Zero Mothers Die.
