Biography

Sociologist, doctor of EHESS, Isabel Boni-Le Goff conducts research on the feminization of management jobs and expert professions (consultants and lawyers in particular). At the University of Lausanne, she contributed to a comparative survey of the legal professions in France and Switzerland. She is interested in the way in which the body, the voice are mobilized and shaped in service jobs, in the forms of emotional, relational, and aesthetic work that are practiced there, and in the social gender relations involved in these professions. .
