Ionela Băluță is a professor at the University of Bucharest, specializing in gender studies and public policies for gender equality. She did her doctoral thesis in sociology (gender) at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales Paris and has published several books and articles on gender-related themes. She founded and coordinates the master "Equal opportunities policies in Romania and the European Union", attached to the European master EGALES
