Biography

Stéphanie Mulot has a doctorate in social anthropology and ethnology from the EHESS in Paris (2000) and authorized to supervise research in sociology at the University of Toulouse (2011). University professor, former president of AMADES, she has been leading and directing research in the French West Indies since 1991 on gender and family relationships, health and food, memory and traces of slavery. She uses a feminist, intersectional, post-colonialist approach to analyze the production of domination, violence and exploitation.
