Marie Jauffret-Roustide is a sociologist at Inserm (National Institute of Health and Medical Research). She works on drug policies from an international perspective between France and the United States. Her research focuses on harm reduction policies (assessment of injection rooms), cannabis legalization, the opioid crisis and healthcare in correctional facilities. She is also working on the impact of COVID19 on young adults in France and Canada, the perception of government measures and vaccination. She coordinates the "Social Sciences, Drugs and Societies" program at EHESS.
