Biography

Laurène Bounaud is General Delegate of the French branch of Transparency International, an anti-corruption association. She is frequently called upon to intervene with national and international audiences before which she encourages the development of rules of transparency and integrity in all sectors of economic and political life. Democracy is not just about choosing your leaders, it is also about choosing how they exercise power and ensuring that it is not confiscated or misused.
