Gabrielle Girardeau

Research Expert - France - Ile-de-France - Paris

Gabrielle Girardeau is a neuroscience researcher at Inserm (National Institute for Health and Medical Research). She studies the mechanisms of memory enhancement (episodic memory, emotional memory) during sleep using electrophysiological recordings in rodents, as well as techniques for manipulating neural networks in vivo (optogenetics). After working 5 years in a research laboratory in New York City, Dr. Girardeau is currently setting up a young research team at the Institut du Fer-à-Moulin in Paris.
