Anne Augereau is an archaeologist specializing in Neolithic times, lithic technology, funerary archeology and genre archeology. She has directed numerous excavation sites. Her publications focus on production techniques for flint tools, on the division of labor and learning, on patriarchy and women in the first agro-pastoral societies. She is a member of the ANR NeoGenre program which combines the biological, pathological and cultural data of the Middle Neolithic populations of the Paris Basin and Alsace.
