Biography

Sibylle Gollac is a sociology researcher at the CNRS. After a thesis on the family dimension of housing and real estate, she studied inheritance and marital separations to analyze the construction of economic inequalities - gender or between social classes - in the family. Member of the JustineS team (Justice and inequalities through the prism of social sciences), she studies in particular the place of law and justice in the perpetuation of these inequalities, and more generally inequalities vis-à-vis the law and the judicial institution.
