Anouk Bottero is a doctoral student, specializing in American musicals and contemporary American theater. Her thesis, which she is preparing at Sorbonne University under the supervision of Professor Élisabeth Angel-Perez, focuses on the aesthetic and political issues of female performances in contemporary musicals (from 1966 to the present day). A former student of the ENS de Lyon and associate professor of English, Anouk Bottero also teaches literature (British and American) and translation within the UFR of Anglophone Studies at Sorbonne University.
