Salomé Paul has a doctorate in comparative literature and theater studies. Her research focuses on the political adaptations of Greek tragedies in French and English theater. In May 2020, she defended her thesis prepared in cotutelle at Sorbonne University and University College Dublin. Since October 2020, she is doing a postdoctoral fellowship at Trinity College, Dublin funded by the Irish Research Council. Her postdoctoral project focuses on feminist rewritings of Greek tragic myths in contemporary theater.
