Biography

Silvana Tapia Tapia holds a PhD in Socio-legal Studies from the University of Kent, UK; a Master's degree in criminal law, a specialist degree in teaching for higher education and a Bachelor’s in Law from Universidad del Azuay (Ecuador). She is a lecturer in the Faculty of Legal Sciences at Universidad del Azuay. In 2022, she will start as a fellow of the prestigious Leverhulme Trust, at the University of Birmingham.
