Biography

Margot Giacinti is a doctoral student in political science at the Triangle laboratory (UMR 5206, Action, discourse, political and economic thought) at the ENS de Lyon, under the supervision of Anne Verjus. Her research first focused on the history of the creation of Grenoble Family Planning, then on the concept of feminicide in the thought of Diana EH Russell and Jill Radford. She is currently preparing a thesis on the concept of femicide as a sociopolitical issue of legal categorization in France, from the French Revolution to the present day.
