Colette EKIA is a lawyer at the Bar of Ecuador, coordinator and promoter of the Women's League for the Protection of Nature; a structure that campaigns for gender equality in the environmental field. She is Vice President of the National Network of Associations of Rural Women in the province of Equateur; a network that brings together several women's associations working in the fields of agriculture, fishing and livestock. She has taken several training courses in female leadership and is called upon by several organizations to intervene in the gender component.
